The Latest Addition to BYD‘s Ocean Series: BYD Launches Mini EV ‘Seagull no Brasil e no México

BYD expands its Ocean series in Brazil and Mexico with the introduction of the Seagull, Um veículo elétrico compacto, marking the brand’s most affordable model in South America. The Seagull joins the Seal and Dolphin in BYD’s Ocean lineup in these markets.

Recently unveiled in Brazil and Mexico, the Seagull is the latest Ocean series model to make its debut in the Latin American market. BYD plans to extend the availability of the Seagull to additional Latin American markets in the future.

Known as the BYD Golfinho Mini in Brazil and Mexico, the Seagull is positioned as a cost-effective alternative within BYD’s Ocean series, which includes models named after marine life and ships. The Dynasty series, named after Chinese dynasties, is another segment of BYD’s diverse model lineup.

Originally launched on April 26, 2023, na China, the Seagull is currently offered in three versions with prices starting at RMB 73,800 ($10,250), RMB 78,800, e RMB 89,800, making it BYD’s most budget-friendly option. The Seagull in China boasts a CLTC range of 305 kilometers for its two lower-priced versions, while the highest-priced version offers an extended range of 405 Quilômetros.
