Zeekr Commences Pre-Orders for Zeekr X and Zeekr 009 in Thailand
Zeekr, the distinguished electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of Geely Holding Group, has initiated pre-orders for two models in Thailand, signaling its expansion into Southeast Asia. Thai customers can reserve the right-hand drive Zeekr X city SUV and the Zeekr 009 MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) starting from March 25 at the Bangkok International Motor Show.
In collaboration with local car distributors, Zeekr Thailand aims to broaden its market reach, with deliveries of the right-hand drive vehicles scheduled to commence in the third quarter. The company plans to establish its inaugural Thai store in Bangkok this year and progressively extend its sales and service network across key cities such as Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Pattaya.
Furthermore, Zeekr will collaborate with local public EV charging service providers to ensure a seamless charging experience for customers. The ongoing 45th Bangkok International Motor Show, spanning until April 7, serves as a platform for Zeekr to showcase its offerings, including the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009, while also hinting at the presence of the Zeekr 007 electric sedan.
Having unveiled its international expansion strategy in 2023, Zeekr has made significant strides in entering various markets, including Europe and Southeast Asia. With deliveries already underway in Europe and plans set for Singapore, Zeekr’s presence continues to grow across multiple continents.
