Zeekr Deepens Partnership with Mobileye to Integrate Advanced Technologies in Next-Generation Models

Menurut siaran pers Mobileye, Zeekr and Mobileye will accelerate technology localization in China and further integrate Mobileye technologies into next-generation Zeekr models. The companies aim to promote the use of driver safety and autonomous driving technologies in China and global markets.

Since late 2021, Zeekr has delivered over 240,000 vehicles equipped with Mobileye SuperVision solutions, termasuk Zeekr 001 dan Zeekr 009, kepada pelanggan di seluruh dunia. To better serve the Chinese market, the companies plan to expedite the deployment and delivery of core Mobileye SuperVision platform technologies.

As part of the deepened cooperation, Zeekr will have access to Mobileye’s road intelligence technologies for its entire lineup of vehicles. Zeekr engineers will be able to utilize Mobileye’s technologies and development tools for data validation, enhancing the integration process.

The partnership will also facilitate the customization of key Mobileye technologies, such as the Mobileye Driving Experience Platform (DXP), enabling automakers to tailor autonomous driving styles and user experiences. Selain itu, the companies will launch next-generation ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and driverless vehicle products based on the EyeQ6H system-on-chip for Zeekr and its related brands in global markets.

Zeekr intends to deploy the Mobileye SuperVision solution in additional vehicle models and next-generation platforms. It also plans to expand the coverage of its existing Navigation Zeekr Pilot (NZP) system on highways and urban roads. Sekarang, the highway NZP based on the SuperVision solution has been implemented in over 150 cities in China.

Mobileye founder and CEO Amnon Shashua anticipates that the number of SuperVision-equipped vehicles could reach around 1.2 million by 2026. Pada bulan September 14, 2023, Mobileye also announced a partnership with FAW Group, one of China’s largest automotive groups, with plans to begin shipping Mobileye’s assisted driving system in production vehicles in 2024.
